Better Block is a world wide movement aiming to promote local communities.  Today’s event at Labuan Square in Norlane did just that, with organic food, crafts, good live music, art and craft activities, kid’s activities and a generally relaxed and friendly mood.  Cycling Geelong was there with the aim of promoting cycling and giving cyclists support through basic bike maintenance.  Many thanks to Kelly who spend almost an hour with William, a young cyclist, whose bike was seriously in need of attention.  William went home with a much more rideable bike, some good advice about riding, and a smile on his face.
