Ideal beginners ride on every Saturday. The route rotates around various locations on a regular schedule. All rides are graded as Easy. 4th Saturday of the month - from Balyang Sanctuary to Waurn Ponds via the Waurn Ponds Creek Trail - approx. 23 km return with a coffee stop at Ferguson Plarre.
The Monday Mystery ride is an easy ride of around 30km exploring some of the lesser known delights of Geelong's cycling routes. it's a different route and coffee stop every week.
One to stretch the legs and test yourself a little - Moriac, Surf Coast or the You Yangs perhaps! Pick up location 8.30 am at South Barwon reserve (at the clubhouse). Always a good coffee spot! Destination changes regularly.
Enjoy a picturesque return ride along the Bellarine Rail Trail (sealed path) from South Geelong to Drysdale with a short stop at Leopold before a coffee at Cafe Zoo, Drysdale (one of our generous club sponsors). Return time approx. 12 noon.
