Happy Birthday Russell – 80 on Wednesday

This was a celebratory ride for our jovial rider Russ Ison, who turns 80 on Wednesday.  The cycling contingent of 20 riders was met at Barwon Edge by a number of others at Barwon Edge for coffee and treats in honour of Russ.  Kelly has been given the all clear by his doctor and showed off the x-rays of broken elbow before and after the metal rods and screws.  Geoff made a bit of a speech and gave Russ a cycling momento from the Mountain Bike World Championships held Europe this year.
