After our wonderful social night 11 people indicated their interest in a weekend away to Bendigo on Friday 29th May till Sunday 31st May.
The rides would be O’Keefe Trail on Saturday 45kms return and the Bendigo Creek trail on Sunday.17kms one way if you go all the way to Bendigo Pottery.
The Creek trail goes past many historic buildings and places of interest so you can stop and linger and not ride all the way.
If partners or friends wish to come with you who do not ride there is public transport outside the caravan park to take them into town, for sightseeing or shopping. Bendigo is a very interesting and historical city.
At the Central City Caravan Park there are cabins with queen beds, double beds, bunks and single bed mixture of configurations.
If you haven’t already indicated your interest please let Stephanie know by Monday 30th March. Reservations would be cabins for couples in queen bed cabins or 3 adults sharing in 4 or 5 berth cabins unless you let Stephanie know otherwise. Looking at the park’s booking there are already a few cabins sold out.
The price range is from $100 for 2 (1 queen bed) to $144 for 3 per night If you wish to take your caravan please book your own site.
With a good response we will have a fantastic weekend. More details of rides catering etc. will follow in due course.
Safe cycling & warm regards
Stephanie and Geoff.
RSVP TO Stephanie by Monday, 30th March if you’re interested in being part of this Cycling Geelong weekend of cycling.
