Mother’s Day Ride: Stephanie and Geoff

It was a perfect riding Day, no wind, lots of sun to go to Torquay & back.   As it was Mother’s Day Alex rang & he met us at Sth Barwon Reserve to join the ride.  We met Paul,  a Geelong resident & his friend Mark from Sydney in their 3 wheel Recumbent Pods.

Mark had  ridden from Perth across the Nullabor in 32 days !!    approx 4,000 kms. Please see photos. We were busy listening to Mark’s inspiring  adventures riding from Perth for some time so we were happy to leave late together.

We enjoyed a lovely morning tea in the sun & out of the breeze off the water  on the beach at Bomboras Kiosk , Fishermans Beach, nestled next to the  Esplanade at Torquay. There was much chatter & banter with  other cyclists there for their Coffees.

We enjoyed  a  lovely day on the Bike as there was little traffic on the roads and Alex was interesting  company.

Happy Cycling

Stephanie & Geoff
